amazing street trash art!

Joshua Allen Harris' Inflatable Bag Monsters

He uses subway grates and trash bags to create animated creatures on the sidewalks of NYC!

Very inventive using only bags and tape and the city environment.

USED Vinyl internet challenge

Sleeveface is an international phenomenon wherein one or more persons obscure or augment body parts with record sleeve(s), causing an illusion. This was a group project open to anyone with access to the internet! very clever idea and amusing use of old records.

I found this on Toxel.com

Interesting Pen Pals

4 artists shared one sketch book. called Book two of these artists lived in Brooklyn, New York, and two in Belfast, Ireland. They sent the book out every monday and received it on a wednesday giving each artist 5 days to add on. this went on for 36 weeks. I think this is interesting to know that they did not talk about the making of this book.. it just happened. I like this idea a lot and the product is a collage of different minds and different places but yet posses a similar creepy vintage quality.

Rory Jeffers

Mac Premo

Duke Riley

Oliver Jeffers

Pleasing Whisps

I Found this minimalist artist on Format, a urban art world magazine.

His name is Robert Gamito. He is Portuguese and a self-taught designer and illustrator.

These are so simple yet calming images. I really enjoy the blue and pink colored ones. These are part of his "Minimalist Experiments" series.

I enjoyed a lot of his other works as well.
This piece is entitled "Eu estou pronto"
This one is entitled "Cutty Sark"
Very interesting and eye catching!
