Stunning Green Roofed Apartment Building Rises in Amsterdam

I heard of this website from a friend in class called Inhabitat
Inhabitat.com is a weblog devoted to the future of design, tracking the innovations in technology, practices and materials that are pushing architecture and home design towards a smarter and more sustainable future.

Inhabitat was started by NYC designer Jill Fehrenbacher as a forum in which to investigate emerging trends in product, interior and architectural design. Mike Chino is the Managing Editor; Emily Pilloton, Olivia Chen, Evelyn Lee, Abigail Doan, Yuka Yoneda and Jorge Chapa are Senior Editors. The site was designed by Jill Fehrenbacher and runs off the fabulous blogging platform Wordpress.

They have a wonderful website for a great cause.

I found this wonderful eco-friendly green-roofed apartment building in Amsterdam. I think this is a beautiful building and a wonderful idea!
Construction was recently finished on this stunning green-roofed apartment building in Amsterdam, and residents will soon be able to move into their stunning new light filled apartments. Designed by NL Architects, Blok K is located between the historic center and the recently redeveloped harbor area in the east. The building contains 10 apartments and is part of a masterplan for the area, which will include 500 dwellings and a park by Frits van Dongen and de Architecten Cie.

VERY SMART!
